"Seeketh Not Her Own" Starts Finding More Content
Study Love's Seeketh Not Her Own section undergoes its first expansion since 2012. As of October 11, 2018:
  • Made many small changes to update the overall design.
  • Split the original two pages into nine to make room for a large expansion of content. The whole group of pages is navigable as if it were one.
  • Repaired the dead links resulting from the split. Added links to Texts cited by Commentators.
  • Applied the current design standard to the menu bar.
  • Added dozens of versions, including non-English, to Versions.
  • Added definitions and Texts links to ze-TEo- in the Greek section.

Elsewhere in Study Love:

  • Added three new pieces of background music, created by Study Love's editor, to the home page. Created in MIDI format to make the files tiny, these pieces use the digital (MIDI) instruments provided by whichever device you're listening to, so the ensemble you hear may be better than what I hear--or not as good. (I know that they play well on my laptops' Windows Media Player and on my cheapie flip phone's web browser.) "Pentatonic Polytonality" and "Double Hexaphony" have been removed because I think you'll probably like these three better. All newly created this summer, they are "Fractal Etude", "Harp Concertino", and "Eastern Mood". (September 17)
"Thinketh No Evil" Has a Much Bigger Byte Count
Study Love's Thinketh No Evil section has become the first Study Love section to surpass 200 kilobytes in size, which is very large when you consider that it has no graphics, i.e., it's just the words you see, plus the HTML code, which is minimal because I typed it all by hand. So you have thousands and thousands of words to enjoy! As big as this section now is, I can still think of more material to add--next time. As of June 11, 2018:
  • Applied the current design standard to the menu bar.
  • Made many small changes to update the overall design.
  • Split the original two pages into seven to make room for a large expansion of content. The whole group of seven pages is navigable as if it were one.
  • Added many versions, including non-English, to Versions.
  • Started a Paronyms section with words derivationally related to logIZomai.
  • Added definitions to kakOS in the Greek section.
  • Made Paronyms a separate section and added words derivationally related to kakOS.
  • Greatly expanded the Commentators section. Now at four big pages, it is, for now, the biggest Commentators section on the Study Love site.
  • To Paronyms added an article from Trench's Synonyms on the meanings of kakIa and kakoE-THeia.
  • Did a search to find out if any of the existing Texts entries need to be linked to references in the new material that's been added. Result: No new links are needed.
  • Added versions to existing Texts entries. Added two new entries.
  • Expanded Other Ancient Sources.
  • Added a more entries to Other Ancient Sources, making Thinketh No Evil the biggest major section of StudyLove and the first ever to cross the 200-kilobyte mark in size.
  • Added more new entries to Texts.
  • Added some Thayer's definitions to Paronyms.
  • Declared this page expansion complete. Updated the Main Index and the Site Download ZIP file.

Elsewhere in Study Love:

  • Corrected a couple of pages that still said, "Page expansion in progress", when in fact the expansions had been completed. (October 16)
  • Added entries to the Commentators Key: "Eiselen, Lewis & Downey" and "James L. Price", as well as a few more authors quoted in the Biblical Illustrator. (December 7, 2017) Added "George Haydock". (January 29)
  • In the Commentators Key, cleared up some attribution confusion by improving the William H. Turner entry. Unless further evidence tells me otherwise, comments throughout Study Love that are attributed to "C.L. Parker" will be changed to Turner, and entries with "Bill" (Turner) will be changed to "William H." (December 23, 2017)
  • Added a version, The Passion Translation (2017), to Versions and to Version Abbreviations. (February 2) Added the New Matthew Bible of 2016. (February 10) Added the Evangelical Heritage Version of 2017. (February 12)
"Rejoiceth Not In Iniquity" Is Now Joyfully Huge

"Charity Envieth Not" Multiplies to Five Big Pages!
"Charity Envieth Not" undergoes a big change! An original one page turned into three in this expansion. Later, the second and third pages got split into two each, making a total of five pages, a first for any Study Love topic section. As usual in Study Love, the whole section is navigable as if it were one big page, but each actual page is about 30 KB or less, which means you can move around as lightning-quickly as ever.

Also a first, this section has been pushed over the 100,000-byte mark! It now stands at about 128 KB. Keep in mind that Study Love sections have no graphics or scripts but only text (the content) and simple HTML (formatting codes), so you have lots more to explore!
